What is the X (Twitter) API? Do I need to pay for it?
The X API is the developer interface provided by the X platform. You can register for a free X developer account and create an application to obtain API keys (Bearer Token). Each account has a certain amount of free request quota per month. We provide detailed application guides.
Is the Free Plan permanently free? What are the limitations?
Yes, the Free Plan is permanently free; you just use your own API quota. The main limitations are the number of monitoring rules (1) and the check frequency (once per day).
Is using my own API secure? How will ChirpPing use my key?
It's very secure. We only use your API key on your behalf to perform monitoring tasks with your authorization. Keys are stored encrypted and never shared with third parties or used for purposes other than monitoring. You have full control over your data.
What happens if I run out of my free API quota?
ChirpPing will display your API usage on the dashboard and alert you when you approach the limit. If you exceed the free quota, monitoring will automatically resume after the quota resets next month, or you can consider upgrading to a ChirpPing paid plan (which allows using our API).
Is it easy to upgrade or downgrade plans?
Very easy. You can change your subscription plan at any time in your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
